Press Conference2011, time for SparX Up Awards to exhibit its existent as a digital appreciation from Indonesian startup to another startup. Press Conference will be attended by Online and Offline Media, Magazines, and also bloggers.
Awarding Night
SparX Up Awards night will be held on October 2011. There will be Talkshow of webpreneur (Digital Expert, owners of some biggest websites in Indonesia), exhibition of the finalist's website, entertainment sand winner's announcement.
This year, we will have a new session dedicated to startup called 'Reverse Pitch'. 'Reverse pitch' will be presented and explain by Venture Capital/Incubator about all information about investor; Why are they willing to invest a startup, and many more.
SparX Up Roadshow
SparX Up will having scheduled road shows to campuses which considered can be a community pocket of SparX Up. Besides to make world's webpreneur closer to campuses, these road shows are specialized to introduce SparX Up Awards and build word-of-mouth communication as one of competition event and to schedule another following event. This road shows also supported by local communities in each cities such as FRESH and Startup Local in Jakarta ,FOWAB (Forum Web Anak Bandung) in Bandung, BANCAKAN 2.0 in Jogjakarta , SUWEC (Surabaya Web Community) in Surabaya , as well SUBALI (Startup Bali) in Bali.
SparX Up Seminar & Workshop
Some big cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Surabaya will hold SparX Up Seminar & Workshop attended by SparX Up winners and Digital Expert from each category. It would increase the awareness of SparX Up Awards' Winners. Get more insight of digital world and learn how to be a great webpreneur!

SparX Up Awards 2011 conference and awarding night has been held in Oct 21st 2011 at Kempinski, Hotel Indonesia. These are categories for Mobile Application. The main challenge is to maximize the application on Mobile Phone through creative product development that caters to all range of categories from lifestyle, commerce, games, social network, location base, etc. We have 2 sub categories for Startups to choose
a. Android Mobile Apps for Samsung
Samsung Mobile wants to support your development effort to be able applied on their mobile handsets. Startup have to submit their mobile apps development that maximized and optimized for Samsung Mobile Android Platform. Here are the terms and condition:
1. All 3 (three) winners Samsung Android Apps will win 1 (one) Galaxy Tab II Wifi each and get fully assistance for apps distribution and promotion by Samsung. As compensation each winner will automatically agree to provide 6 months exclusivity right for Samsung handsets.
2. Top rank from 4th (fourth) to 10th (tenth) Samsung Android Apps will win Galaxy Tab I wifi each and get fully assistance for apps distribution and promotion by Samsung. As compensation each winner will automatically agree to provide 6 months exclusivity right for Samsung handsets.
b. General Mobile Apps
In this category, Startup can submit other OS platform such: iOS, Blackbery, Java, Symbian, Meego, etc that can run handsets that support those OS.
